Sandra from Pauseology

Our Story

My mission is to help women take back control of their midlife journey. I believe through supportive community and expertise, we can thrive through Menopause.

In my own perimenopausal journey, I had gut issues, anxiety and chronic body pain. At the time, I felt alone, and uneducated. Going through this process, alongside my love for helping women find joy and balance in their movement drives me to help other women in their menopausal journey.

Health and fitness are my life. Through school and into adulthood, like a lot of women I played different sports. I performed at the national level in triathlon. I love snow sports, and even got into dragon boating. After having two children in my 30’s, I became super busy. My self care took a back seat.

In my late 40’s, I had the first symptoms of very low oestrogen. This manifested itself as brain fog, low energy, erratic moods, a change in my cycle, and further gut issues. Diet became even more important to navigate this time.

As things changed, I learned how to use food and my Pilates practice to restore balance.

As I continued to learn, I’m now on a mission to help support women so they can feel educated and  in control during their menopause journey.

I have coached 100s of women over the last 10 years. Graduate of Dr. Stacy Sims Menopause 2.0 certification
